Harry, Harry, Harry!

Yeah, he's only a twenty something - and so were we all - but showing up at a friend's costume party dressed as a Nazi, well, we don't know.

I recall donning my father's Canadian Airborne, 2nd lieutenant's uniform from WW11 and attending a few costume parties, even flying military standby once while in college in order to stretch my $34 into a round trip ticket good to see my folks at Christmas. The era was the Vietnam War and not a few fellow passengers, active officers and veterans from World War 2, noticed the discrepancy; a 1940's uniform worn by a 20 something in 1967? They let me pass and I've always remembered that as a thing that living and experience enables.

So Harry used bad judgment, OK, abysmally bad judgment, but he's still only a Royal and well, where else will he ever conceivably have a chance to wear a uniform. Prince Harry owes an apology to just about everyone and then may we suggest... military academy?
